Understanding that mediocre beauty schools are commonplace, the more discerning student may decide to choose an established and reputable beauty school or hair academy such as the Aveda Institute Portland or Seattle or even Paul Mitchell the School – Portland. Both of these academies do offer above par training for the discerning student, but realize you’re not going to be actually trained to cut and dress hair by Horst Rechelbacher himself or John Paul DeJoria. You will be trained by employees – instructors of a well branded company.
